
Hunter Allen, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Allen grew up in southern Indiana where she graduated from Salem High School as valedictorian. She earned her BS in Biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN in 2014. She then attended Indiana University School of Dentistry where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2018.
Dr. Allen then went on to complete a three-year residency program in Periodontics at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). While in San Antonio, Dr. Allen managed a randomized controlled clinical trial investigating ridge preservation and earned her master’s degree from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Also, while in San Antonio, Dr. Allen lectured for the International Team for Implantology Study Club.
Dr. Allen is board-eligible for the American Board of Periodontology. Her professional affiliations include memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontists, and the American Dental Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Allen enjoys standup paddleboarding at Lake Lewisville, training her Boston terrier puppy, gardening, and spending time with her family in the DFW area.
